During the first quarter of 2023, the top sandbox games in Colombia showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the trends for Roblox, Minecraft, Terraria, Blockman GO, and Mini World: CREATA.

Roblox experienced a fluctuating revenue trend, starting at approximately $17.4K in late December 2022 and ending at about $9.8K by the end of March 2023. The game saw a significant spike in downloads around mid-February, reaching 143K, and maintained a high number of weekly active users, peaking at around 2.78M in late February.

Minecraft showed a gradual decline in revenue from $4.5K at the end of December to about $2.7K by the end of March. Weekly downloads also decreased over the quarter, from 966 in late December to 246 by the end of March. However, the game maintained a relatively stable active user base, fluctuating around 40K to 50K users throughout the quarter.

Terraria had a more modest performance, with weekly revenue hovering around $200-$300. Downloads saw a sharp decline from 223 in late December to just 16 by the end of March. The active users for Terraria also saw a drop, starting at 507 and ending at 333 by the end of the quarter.

Blockman GO showed a decreasing trend in both revenue and downloads. Starting with a weekly revenue of $476 in late December, it dipped to $147 by the end of March. Downloads followed a similar trend, starting at 8.3K and ending at 2.8K. The active user base also saw a decline from 55K to 29.5K over the quarter.

Mini World: CREATA saw a sporadic revenue pattern, with significant peaks and troughs, starting at $70 in late December and ending at just $12 by the end of March. Downloads showed a notable peak of 10.7K in early January and another spike to 9.7K at the end of March. Active users fluctuated but remained relatively high, peaking at 59.3K in early January and ending at 49K by the end of March.
